21日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は続伸し、前日比130円36銭（0.68％）高の１万9381円44銭で終えた。外国為替市場で一時１ドル＝113円台後半と朝方に比べ円安・ドル高に振れ、株価指数先物に断続的な買いが入ったことが指数を押し上げた。

午前中ごろにハーカー・フィラデルフィア連銀総裁が米国での講演で「３月利上げを排除しない」と発言したことをきっかけに、ドル買いの動きが強まり円安期待から株価指数先物への買いが入った。

日経平均オプションの取引価格をもとに算出し、市場参加者の予測する日経平均の将来の値動きの大きさを示す「日経平均ボラティリティー・インデックス（ＶＩ）」は昨年来安値を下回り、株式市場の下値警戒感が和らぎ、買いが優勢となった。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続伸。終値は前日比83.75ポイント（0.6％）高の１万3959.68だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続伸し、8.59ポイント（0.56％）高の1555.60で終えた。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で１兆6540億円と連日で今年最低を更新した。売買高は15億2843万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1227と、全体の約６割を占めた。値下がりは629、変わらずは146銘柄だった。

東海東京がＴＯＢ（株式公開買い付け）による買収を発表した高木は大幅に上昇。スズキとマツダは上昇し、ＳＯＭＰＯと三菱ケミＨＤは昨年来高値を更新した。りそなＨＤと三井住友ＦＧも上昇した。一方、東芝や富士フイルムは下落した。ＮＴＴとソフトバンクも安く、味の素とアステラスも下げた。

東証２部株価指数は５日続伸し、連日で昨年来高値を更新した。ＴＯＲＥＸとＭＣＪが上げ、シャープとフライトＨＤが下げた。

21日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は８日続伸した。終値は前日比10円54銭（0.36％）高い2959円08銭となり、連日で昨年来高値を更新した。後場に円相場が円安・ドル高方向に振れ、投資家心理が改善した。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で579億円、売買高は１億1916万株だった。ＤＷＴＩやアエリア、ピクセルが上昇した。半面、安江工務店や平田機工、フェローテクは下落した。

東証マザーズ指数は続伸した。終値は前日比4.45ポイント（0.43％）高い1032.86だった。アカツキやＪＭＣ、そーせいが上昇した。一方でモブキャスやイグニス、アスカネットは下落した。
