18日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は反落し、前週末比171円42銭（0.75％）安の２万2680円33銭で取引を終えた。米国と中国の貿易摩擦が激しさを増し、世界経済の停滞につながるとの懸念から海運や機械、鉄鋼などへ利益確定売りが広がった。朝方に大阪北部で地震が発生し、被害の状況を見極めたいとして買いを見送る雰囲気につながった面もある。

米政権は15日、中国の知的財産権侵害を理由に500億ドル（約５兆5000億円）分の中国製品へ追加関税を課すと発表した。中国はすぐさま米国製品に同額の報復関税を課すと発表。米中の報復の連鎖が企業活動を萎縮させるとの連想が働き、投資家心理が悪化した。コマツやファナック、安川電など、いわゆる「中国関連銘柄」の値下がりも目立った。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400も反落した。終値は154.15ポイント（0.97％）安の１万5680.93だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も反落し、17.61ポイント（0.98％）安の1771.43で終えた。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆2568億円。売買高は13億5288万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1518と、全体の７割強を占めた。値上がりは507、変わらずは64銘柄だった。

任天堂やトヨタが下落。東京エレクトロンやＳＵＭＣＯが売りに押され、三菱ＵＦＪとソフトバンクも下げた。一方、村田製が連日で年初来高値を更新。資生堂とＪＴが上げ、ファスト・リテーリングにも買いが入った。

18日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は反落した。終値は前週末比20円68銭（0.52％）安の3961円87銭だった。朝方に大阪北部で地震が発生し、投資家心理を冷やした。被害状況を見極めたいとしてリスク回避の売りが出た。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で566億円、売買高は１億551万株だった。ハーモニック・ドライブ・システムズやフェローテックホールディングス、夢の街創造委員会が下落した。半面、セリアや夢真ホールディングス、東映アニメは上昇した。

　東証マザーズ指数も反落した。終値は前週末比15.58ポイント（1.35％）安の1136.27だった。ミクシィやサイバダイン、ＴＫＰが下落した。一方、ＪＩＡやマネーフォワード、ラクスルは上昇した。
