10日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は続伸した。終値は前日比116円06銭（0.54％）高の２万1794円32銭と、３月15日以来およそ１カ月ぶりの高値を付けた。中国の習近平（シー・ジンピン）国家主席が10日の演説で「自動車などの輸入関税を引き下げる」と述べたとの内容が伝わると、自動車や電機株などを中心に買いが活発となった。
中国の国家主席が10日のアジアフォーラムで演説し、自動車などの関税を下げて輸入を拡大すると言及した。外資の過半出資を容認するなど市場開放を一段と進める方針を示し、トヨタなどの自動車株が上昇。ファナックやコマツなどの機械、建機株の買いも活発となり、日経平均を押し上げた。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400も続伸した。終値は前日比61ポイント（0.40％）高の１万5332.88だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続伸。6.06ポイント（0.35％）高の1731.94で終えた。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆7034億円。売買高は14億6866万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1129と、全体の54.2％を占めた。値下がりは873、変わらずは80銘柄だった。
中国国家主席の発言を受けて、日立建機など中国関連銘柄が上昇した。丸紅や伊藤忠など商社株も高い。一方、ＮＴＴドコモなど携帯３社が新サービスを始めると発表し、競合サービスを手がけるＬＩＮＥが午後に一段安となった。花王や資生堂などの内需関連として買われてきた株が下落した。サッポロＨＤ、ニチレイなど食料品銘柄も安い。
10日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は３日続落した。終値は前日比11円50銭（0.29％）安の3971円45銭。米中貿易摩擦への警戒感が和らぐなか、輸出株が多い東証１部銘柄など主力銘柄が上昇。相対的に新興株への関心が低下し、利益確定売りが優勢となった。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で665億円、売買高は１億1877万株だった。エンジャパンやユニバーサル、免疫生物研が下落した。半面、オンキヨーやハーモニック、ドーンは上昇した。
東証マザーズ指数は反落し、5.96ポイント（0.50％）安の1176.82で終えた。そーせいやＲＰＡ、神戸天然物化が下落した。
