１日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は大幅に続落し、前日比343円77銭（1.56％）安の２万1724円47銭で終えた。下げ幅は一時400円を超え、２万1600円台半ばまで下落した。心理的な節目の２万2000円を割り込んだのは２月23日以来、４営業日ぶり。２月28日の米国株が大幅安した流れを受け、主力株を中心に売りが膨らんだ。外国為替市場での円高も嫌気された。

米国と中国の景気指標ベースでの悪化との報道が続き、世界経済の先行きが演出され、東京市場に不透明感が広がった。機械や化学、鉄鋼といった景気敏感株の下げが目立った。

２月に株式相場の変動率が急上昇したため、保有資産のリスク量を一定に保つ「リスク・パリティ」戦略を取る海外投資家からも売りが出たという。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落した。終値は前日比243.39ポイント（1.56％）安の１万5370.06だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落し、28.04ポイント（1.59％）安の1740.20で終えた。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆7893億円。売買高は15億1848万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1746、値上がりは281、変わらずは42銘柄だった。

ダイキン工業とコマツが下落した。ＪＦＥホールディングスと信越化学工業も売られた。一方、ＪＡＬとＡＮＡホールディングスは上昇した。小野薬品工業と大東建託も買われた。

１日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は11営業日ぶりに反落した。終値は前日比38円52銭（0.93％）安の4111円16銭だった。エン・ジャパンやマクドナルドといった時価総額が大きい銘柄を中心に売りが優勢となった。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で1042億円、売買高は１億278万株だった。ハーモニック・ドライブ・システムズやフェローテックホールディングスなどハイテク関連株も安い。半面、ＩＧポートやビーマップといった内需株は買われた。

東証マザーズ指数は反落した。終値は6.76ポイント（0.55％）安の1232.37だった。ミクシィやサイバダインなどが下落した。一方、マネーフォワードやイグニスが高い。
