The Nikkei Stock Average fell marginally on the Tokyo stock market on Wednesday, and the closing price dropped by 19.04 yen (0.08%) from the previous day to 22,664.64. During the middle of the afternoon, the value of the influence on the Nikkei average such as Tokyo Electron and Fanuc had a large influence on the stock and sales for the purpose of high adjustment and profit determination came out. Trading volume of the first section of the TSE was only 889.15 million shares, the lowest level in around six years since December 30, 2011.
The Nikkei average rose 3650.57 yen (19%) per year, rising for the sixth consecutive year. It is the longest rise record since 1978-89, the 12th consecutive year, longest after the collapse of the bubble economy of the 1980s. Market capitalization of TSE 1 department at the end of 2005 was 674 trillion yen, increased by about 114 trillion yen (20%) in one year.
On the morning of 29th, the stock appreciation of the previous day's US stock and the yen's appreciation was felt, major stocks such as finance were bought, and resource-related shares rose on the back of a strong international commodity market situation.
JPX Nikkei index 400 fell slightly, closing price dropped by 22.66 points (0.14%) to 10,674.10. The TSE stock index (TOPIX) also fell slightly, finishing in 1817.56, down 1.47 points (0.08%).
The trading value of TSE 1 department was low at roughly 1,546.5 billion yen. The number of stocks in the TSE 1 department was 914, the price rise was 1030, unchanged was 119.
Shiseido, Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings etc. chemistry related lower. Keyence and Nidec are cheap, Daiwa House Industry and Daito Trust is also weak. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and other banking stocks were raised. The TSE Mothers index rebounded. The closing price was 1231.99, which was 13.90 points (1.14%) higher than the previous day. It increased by 289 points (30.7%) in the year. Sooo, Parkshire, MIRAI WKS rose. Mixi and cyberdyne, Nakamura Taiyakin fell.

大納会を迎えた29日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は小幅に続落し、終値は前日比19円04銭（0.08％）安の２万2764円94銭だった。年末で売買が細る中、午後中ごろから東京エレクトロンやファナックなど日経平均への影響度の大きい値がさ株に持ち高調整や利益確定目的の売りが出た。東証１部の売買高は８億8915万株にとどまり、2011年12月30日以来およそ６年ぶりの低水準だった。
日経平均は年間では3650円57銭（19％）上げ、６年連続の上昇となった。1978～89年の12年連続以来となる長期上昇記録で、80年代のバブル経済崩壊後として最長。17年末の東証１部の時価総額は674兆円で、１年間で約114兆円（20％）増えた。
29日午前は前日の米株高や円相場の落ち着きを好感し、金融など主力株が買われたほか、国際商品市況の堅調を背景に資源関連株が上げた。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は小幅続落し、終値は前日比22.66ポイント（0.14％）安の１万6074.10。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も小幅続落し1.47ポイント（0.08％）安の1817.56で終えた。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で１兆5465億円と低水準だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は914、値上がりは1030、変わらずは119だった。
資生堂や信越化学工業、三菱ケミカルホールディングスなど化学関連が下げた。キーエンスや日本電産が安く、大和ハウス工業や大東建託も軟調。一方、三菱ＵＦＪフィナンシャル・グループや三井住友トラスト・ホールディングス、三井住友フィナンシャルグループなど銀行株は上げた。大和証券グループ本社や野村ホールディングスも買われた。クボタやコマツが高い。三菱商事や伊藤忠商事、住友金属鉱山が年初来高値を更新した。
東証２部株価指数は続伸した。東芝と省電舎ホールディングスが上げ、児玉化学工業と朝日インテックが下げた。
29日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は反発した。終値は前日比17円89銭（0.45％）高い3950円46銭だった。２日ぶりに年初来高値を更新した。1990年７月17日以来およそ27年５カ月ぶりの高水準となる。年末で機関投資家の取引が減少し、値動きが軽い中小型株を物色する個人投資家が増えた。直近に新規上場した銘柄の上げが目立った。2017年の取引最終日に高値を更新する「大納会高値」となり、年間では1211円（44.2％）上昇した。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で1056億円、売買高は9287万株だった。３ＤＭやエンジャパン、ヴィスコ、ラクオリアが上昇した。半面、マクドナルドやハーモニック、幸和製は下落した。
東証マザーズ指数は反発した。終値は前日比13.90ポイント（1.14％）高い1231.99だった。年間では289ポイント（30.7％）上昇した。そーせいやパークシャ、みらいＷＫＳが上昇した。ミクシィやサイバダイン、中村超硬は下落した。
