21日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は反発した。終値は前日比154円72銭（0.70％）高の２万2416円48銭だった。連立協議の決裂の影響に警戒感のあった20日のドイツ株が上昇したのをきっかけに、投資家心理が改善した。為替の円安・ドル高も支えになった。運用リスクを取りやすくなった短期志向の海外投資家などから、自動車など主力株に買いが入った。

株価指数への影響が大きなファーストリテイリングやソフトバンクグループなど値がさ株も買われた。

日経平均は午前に上げ幅が300円を超える場面もあった。だが、上値では利益確定の売りも出て、取引終了にかけて伸び悩み、この日の安値で終えた。

トヨタ自動車やスズキといった自動車株が上昇した。設備投資などに前向きな企業を対象に政府が法人減税を導入すると伝わり、省力化投資などの需要が増えているファナックなどにも買いが入った。三菱ケミカルホールディングスや資生堂、クボタが高い。一方、大塚ホールディングスが売られた。東京海上ホールディングスやＳＯＭＰＯホールディングスも安い。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は反発した。終値は前日比96.69ポイント（0.62％）高の１万5702.44だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も反発し、11.48ポイント（0.65％）高の1771.13だった。東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆5004億円、売買高は15億2830万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1426と全体の約７割を占めた。値下がりは526、変わらずは86銘柄だった。

東証２部株価指数は反発した。東芝と朝日インテックが上げ、ラオックスやシャープが下げた。

21日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は４日続伸した。終値は前日比27円72銭（0.75％）高い3737円72銭となった。１日以来、約３週間ぶりに年初来高値を更新した。1990年８月３日（3858円65銭）以来ほぼ27年３カ月ぶりの高値となる。主要国の株式相場が上昇する中で投資家心理が上向き、新興企業株にも資金流入が続いた。午後に日経平均株価は伸び悩んだが、値動きの軽い新興企業株には短期志向の個人投資家の買いが入った。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で770億円、売買高は9496万株だった。テクノホライゾン・ホールディングスやエヌエフ回路設計ブロック、ハーモニック・ドライブ・システムズが上昇した。半面、ユビキタスやアバールデータ、ユニバーサルは下落した。

東証マザーズ指数も４日続伸し、終値は前日比7.93ポイント（0.69％）高の1153.06だった。ソレイジア・ファーマやフィル・カンパニー、グレイステクノロジーが上げた。一方、そーせいグループや中村超硬、ＵＮＩＴＥＤは下げた。
