17日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は小幅に続落した。前日比26円65銭（0.14％）安の１万9702円63銭で終えた。前日公表の米連邦公開市場委員会（ＦＯＭＣ）議事要旨を受けて米利上げペースが鈍るとの見方が広がり、米長期金利が低下した。外国為替市場で円高・ドル安が進み、買いが手控えられた。日電産やキーエンスなどの好業績銘柄には押し目買いが入って前場は上げに転じる場面もあったが、後場は軟調な値動きが目立った。

夏季休暇の市場参加者が多く、東証１部の売買代金は概算で１兆8060億円と、６月26日（１兆7505億円）以来２カ月ぶりの低水準となった。北朝鮮情勢を巡る警戒はいったん和らいだが、週明け21日には米韓が朝鮮半島で合同軍事演習を始める。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落。終値は前日比21.07ポイント（0.15％）安の１万4336.80だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落し、1.18ポイント（0.07％）安の1614.82で終えた。

売買高は14億3619万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は802と、全体の39.6％を占めた。値上がりは1098、変わらずは123銘柄だった。

米長期金利の低下を背景に第一生命ＨＤや三菱ＵＦＪなど金融株が下落した。マツダやＳＵＢＡＲＵなど自動車株も安い。ユニチャームや住友電、セコムの下げも目立った。旭化成や国際石開帝石も売られた。一方、米投資ファンドのサーベラス・グループが全株式を売却した西武ＨＤが４％高だった。ＳＭＣや住友鉱、ＪＸＴＧの上げが大きかった。ヤマトＨＤが上昇し、ＪＡＬは年初来高値を更新した。

東証２部株価指数は３日続伸した。リミックスと東芝が上げ、シャープと朝日インテクが下げた。

17日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は３日続伸した。終値は前日比24円05銭（0.73％）高い3340円85銭だった。円高への警戒感が続く中で、マクドナルドなど内需株に買いが向かった。前週に今期業績を上方修正したエヌジェイなど好業績銘柄を物色する動きも強まり、指数は午後に上げ幅を拡大した。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で721億円、売買高は１億2275万株だった。オンラインゲーム運営のアエリアのほか、田中化研や小田原エンジが上げた。一方、デジアドやＵＴ、ユニバーサルは下落した。

東証マザーズ指数は３日続伸した。終値は前日比8.42ポイント（0.77％）高い1097.39だった。マザーズ指数も午後一段高だった。サイステップやインフォテリ、アンジェスが上昇した。一方、アカツキやそーせい、ジーエヌアイは下落した。
