24日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は続落し、前週末に比べ124円08銭（0.62％）安い１万9975円67銭で終えた。終値で２万円の大台を割り込んだのは18日以来４営業日ぶり。前週末の米株式相場が下落した流れを受けたほか、円相場の上昇を嫌気した売りが終日優勢だった。

朝方は売り先行で始まり、一時は前週末に比べ200円程度安い１万9900円近辺まで下落した。午後に入ると日銀の上場投資信託（ＥＴＦ）買いへの思惑や１万9900円を割り込まなかったことなどを背景に、短期の値幅取りを狙った投資家による買い戻しの動きが広がった。２万円を上回る場面もあった。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落した。終値は前週末比85.96ポイント（0.59％）安の１万4403.12だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落し、8.42ポイント（0.52％）安の1621.57で終えた。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で１兆9163億円と、連日で２兆円を下回った。売買高は15億6143万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は812と、全体の４割にとどまった。値上がりは全体の過半にあたる1061、変わらずは151だった。

花王、任天堂やコマツが下落した。第一三共やアステラス、エーザイといった医薬品株が売られた。富士通、キヤノンやソニーが下げた。東芝、東レや三菱重が上昇。信越化やダイキン、ソフトバンクは上昇した。

東証２部株価指数は５営業日続伸し、連日で過去最高値を更新した。シャープと篠崎屋が上げ、ＪＦＬＡとアルメディオが下げた。

24日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は４日続伸した。終値は前週末比13円26銭（0.40％）高い3340円11銭と、1990年８月21日以来ほぼ26年11カ月ぶりの高値を付けた。収益拡大の期待できる銘柄を選別して物色する流れとなった。東証１部の大型株は方向感に欠ける動きが続くなか、値動きを求めた短期資金も一部の銘柄に流入した。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で751億円、売買高は１億2588万株だった。ブロッコリーが上昇し、20日上場のクロスフォーが上げた。半面、アエリアや日本一ソフトなどゲーム銘柄の下げが目立った。

東証マザーズ指数は４営業日ぶりに反落した。終値は前週末比7.61ポイント（0.64％）安い1182.17だった。時価総額の大きいミクシィやそーせいが下げた。ＵＮＩＴＥＤが下落し、バイオ医薬品のアンジェスは商いを伴い下げた。一方、ＰＳＳやリミックスは上昇した。
