20日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は続伸した。前日比123円73銭（0.62％）高の２万0144円59銭で終えた。日銀はきょうまで開いた金融政策決定会合で金融緩和の継続を決めた。結果発表直後の後場は日本でカネ余りによる株高が続くとの見方から買いが集まり、上げ幅を拡大した。
前日に米主要株価指数がそろって最高値を更新したことも投資家心理を強気に傾け
朝方は円相場が１ドル＝111円台後半まで上昇し、日経平均の上値の重さも目立ったが、後場は幅広い銘柄に買いが入った。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続伸。終値は前日比105.42ポイント（0.73％）高の１万4521.06だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続伸した。11.14ポイント（0.69％）高の1633.01で終え、15年８月19日（1648.48）以来１年11カ月ぶりの高値となった。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆1144億円。売買高は16億5097万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1491と、全体の73.7％を占めた。値下がりは399、変わらずは133銘柄だった。
18年度にも開発中の認知症薬が治験の最終段階に入ると発表した富士フイルムが高い。日立や旭化成、三菱ケミＨＤは年初来高値を更新した。村田製やＪＦＥの上げ幅も大きかった。大塚ＨＤやＡＮＡＨＤが上昇し、信越化やキーエンス、東エレクが買われた。一方、ファストリは年初来安値を更新した。任天堂や三井住友ＦＧの下げが目立った。京セラやりそなＨＤが安く、スズキやＮＴＴが売られた。
20日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は続伸した。大引けは前日比11円92銭（0.36％）高い3311円73銭となり、1991年６月14日に付けた3333円78銭以来およそ26年１カ月ぶりの高値を更新した。新興銘柄の業績への期待から買いが入った。ただ午後に入ると日経平均株価が上げ幅を拡大する中、換金売りも出て伸び悩んだ。主力のマクドナルドが買われ、相場を下支えした。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で776億円、売買高は１億5877万株だった。マクドナルド以外ではワットマンやラクオリア、トレイダーズが上昇。ビーマップやアエリア、ブロッコリーが下落した。
東証マザーズ指数も続伸した。大引けは前日比2.82ポイント（0.24％）高い1179.80だった。アンジェスやジーエヌアイ、リミックスが上げた。サイステップやイグニス、インフォテリが下げた。
新興市場で初値が付いた２銘柄の終値は明暗が分かれた。宝飾品やアクセサリーを製造販売するジャスダック上場のクロスフォーの終値は1081円で初値を30円（2.9％）上回って取引を終えた。一方、マザーズに19日上場してきょう初めて取引が成立した業務用ユニホームの通販を手がけるユニネクの終値は5850円。初値を790円（11.9％）下回った。
東証２部株価指数は３日続伸。連日で最高値を更新した。フマキラとＭＣＪが上げ、シャープとペッパーが下げた。きょう東証２部に新規上場したＪＳＢは10時２分に公開価格（3200円）を1080円（33.8％）上回る4280円で初値を付けた。終値は4750円だった。
