７日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は３営業日ぶりに小反発した。終値は前日比４円72銭（0.02％）高の１万9984円62銭だった。これまでの上昇局面で買い遅れていた国内外の投資家が押し目買いに動いた。外国為替市場で円高が進まなかったことも買い戻しを誘い、心理的な節目の２万円を上回る場面もあった。一方、英総選挙など海外の重要な政治日程を控え、全体に上値は重かった。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は３日続落し、前日比2.93ポイント（0.02％）安の１万4232.32だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は小幅に反発し、0.65ポイント（0.04％）高の1597.09だった。
８日に英国の英総選挙やコミー前米連邦捜査局（ＦＢＩ）長官の議会証言などが控えている。朝方は米株安などもあり、相場は下げる場面が目立った。ただ、日銀による株価指数連動型上場投資信託（ＥＴＦ）買いの期待などが投資家心理を支えた。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆3239億円。売買高は17億1817万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1150と全体の57％を占めた。値下がりは693、変わらずは174銘柄だった。
世界の半導体市場の拡大期待から、東エレクやアドテストが上げた。今期業績を上方修正した三井ハイテクは大幅高。外部資本での再建が伝わったＪディスプレは上昇した。半導体子会社の売却で、日米連合と米ブロードコムが有力と伝わった東芝は買われた。
半面、今期業績見通しが市場予想を下回ったアインＨＤが大幅安。上昇の続いていたハウスや信越化も売られた。「ポケットモンスター」のキャラクターが登場するゲームを家庭用ゲーム機「ニンテンドースイッチ」向けに発売すると伝わった任天堂は下落した。ファストリやユニファミマも下げた。米長期金利の低下を受け、ＭＳ＆ＡＤなど保険株が軟調だった。
東証２部株価指数は小幅に反発した。アルチザや朝日インテクが上げた。一方、象印やＴスマートが下げた
７日の新興企業向け株式市場で日経ジャスダック平均株価が反発した。終値は前日比11円94銭（0.37％）高の3222円12銭だった。平田機工やマクドナルドといった好業績期待のあるジャスダック市場での主力株に買いが入り、相場を押し上げた。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で650億円、売買高は１億2364万株だった。アエリアやガーラも上昇した。半面、ベクターや日本一ソフト、ハーモニックが売られた。
東証マザーズ指数は反発した。終値は前日比15.24ポイント（1.38％）高の1123.12となり年初来高値を更新した。2016年６月10日以来、約１年ぶりの高値となった。アカツキやリミックス、インフォテリが上昇した。一方でモブキャスやアンジェス、ＴＫＰは下落した。
