Jasdaq Stock Average Falls for the First Time in 4 Business Days
The Nikkei Stock Average fell sharply on the 18th Tokyo stock market. The closing price was 265.02 yen (1.32%) less than the previous day and was 19,553.88 yen. It is the lowest lows of around half a month since the 2nd. Concerns over the "Russian Gate" problem over President Trump and the uncertainty of Russia strengthened, and the yen exchange rate rose to around 111 yen at 1 dollar on the foreign exchange market. In addition to selling overseas hedge funds, domestic institutional investors have reduced the possession of economically sensitive stocks and expanded defensive brands. It lowered to a cheap level of about 360 yen at a time.
The JPX Nikkei index 400 fell 187.88 points (1.34%) to 13,875.98, down from the previous day. The TSE stock index (TOPIX) also closed down, down 20.81 points (1.32%) to 1555.01.
From the mid-week front, investors who had short-selling came back to buy back and supported the index. Institutional investors purchased some of the defensive brands such as JT and Kao. Individual investors were also willing to buy them.
The trading value of TSE 1 department is estimated at 2,719.8 billion yen on an approximate basis. Trading volume was 2,184.63 million shares. The number of stocks in the first section of the TSE accounted for 1574, accounting for 78% of the total. The price rise was 370, unchanged 71 stocks.
Disgusted US turmoil, SOFTBANK fell. Financial stocks such as Mitsubishi UFJ and Dai-ichi Life HD were sold with a rise in US long-term interest rates. One corner of automobile shares such as SUBARU fell as the yen appreciated. Semiconductor related issues such as East Elek and Shinetsuke were also sold. Jay Wei, whose monthly sales were sluggish, was significantly lower.
On the other hand, Kubota, which was informed that selling low-priced agricultural machines in the domestic market rose. We raised food stocks such as Japan Ham and Nichirei. Meanwhile, Hirata Kiko Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells production equipment, turned up in the afternoon. McDonald 's continued to be bought as domestic demand related industry which is hardly affected by overseas.
The TSE Mothers index fell. The closing price was 9.70 points (0.91%) cheaper than the previous day at 1057.18. Following the target stock price reduction of securities companies, large sums of market capitalization were sold. On the other hand, Mixi, the market capitalization top in the Mothers market, rose in the afternoon and contributed to supporting the index.

18日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は大幅に続落した。終値は前日比261円02銭（1.32％）安の１万9553円86銭だった。２日以来、およそ半月ぶりの安値。トランプ米大統領とロシアの不透明な関係を巡る「ロシアゲート」問題への懸念が強まり、外国為替市場で円相場が１ドル＝111円前後まで強含んだ。海外ヘッジファンドの売りが膨らんだほか、国内機関投資家が、景気敏感株の持ち高を減らし、ディフェンシブ銘柄を増やす動きが広がった。一時360円程度安い水準まで下げた。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落し、前日比187.88ポイント（1.34％）安の１万3875.98だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落し、20.81ポイント（1.32％）安の1555.01だった。
前場中ごろ以降は、空売りしていた投資家の買い戻しが入り、指数を下支えした。ＪＴや花王といったディフェンシブ銘柄の一角には機関投資家の買いが入った。個人投資家の押し目買い意欲も旺盛だった。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆7198億円。売買高は21億8463万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1574と全体の78％を占めた。値上がりは370、変わらずは71銘柄だった。
米政治の混乱を嫌気し、ソフトバンクが下落した。米長期金利の上昇一服で三菱ＵＦＪや第一生命ＨＤといった金融株が売られた。円高が進んだことでＳＵＢＡＲＵなど自動車株の一角は下落した。東エレクや信越化など半導体関連銘柄も売られた。月次売上高が伸び悩んだジェイエイシは大幅安だった。
半面、国内で低価格農機を販売すると伝わったクボタが上昇した。日ハムやニチレイなど食品株は上げた。東ガスやニトリＨＤが年初来高値を更新した。空売りが増えていた川崎汽や郵船といった海運株は大幅高だった。
東証２部株価指数は反落した。シャープやウェーブＨＤが下げた。一方、ペッパーやＤＡＣＨＤが上げた。
18日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は４営業日ぶりに反落した。終値は前日比18円60銭（0.60％）安い3069円97銭だった。トランプ米政権の政策運営の先行き不透明感で投資家心理が悪化。利益確定売りも出て、指数は５月９日以来の安値を付けた。
朝方にジャスダック平均の下落率１％を超えたが、午後になって下げ渋った。市場では「投資家の警戒は根強いが、午前に利益確定の売りが一巡すると、売り圧力が低下した」（投資仲介会社クラウドファンディングの伊東修社長）という。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で620億円、売買高は7091万株だった。直近で人気を集めていた情報セキュリティーソフトのアズジェントに売りが出た。一方、生産設備製造・販売の平田機工が午後に上昇に転じた。海外の影響を受けにくい内需関連としてマクドナルドが引き続き買われた。
東証マザーズ指数は続落した。終値は前日比9.70ポイント（0.91％）安い1057.18だった。証券会社の目標株価引き下げを受け、時価総額の大きいそーせいが売られた。半面、マザーズ市場で時価総額トップのミクシィが午後に上昇し、指数を支える一因となった。
