24日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は３日続落した。前日比87円92銭（0.45％）安の１万9283円54銭で終えた。３日続落は１月５～10日以来。円相場が１ドル＝112円台後半へ上昇したのが投資家心理を冷やした。週末に加え、来週28日に迫るトランプ米大統領の議会演説を警戒し、持ち高を調整する目的の売りが出やすかった。２月期決算企業の権利落ちによる日経平均の押し下げは11円程度だったとみられる。
23日の米ダウ工業株30種平均は連日で最高値を更新したが、海外市場の日経平均先物は軟調で、この流れが東京市場にも波及した。海外投資家などの売りで、日経平均の下げ幅は朝方に150円を超える場面があった。
下値では年金など国内投資家の押し目買いが入り、日経平均は一時上昇に転じた。ただ、買いの勢いは続かず、後場は持ち高を整理する目的の売りが優勢となった。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落した。終値は前日比59.92ポイント（0.43％）安の１万3893.04だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は続落し、6.11ポイント（0.39％）安の1550.14で終えた。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆729億円だった。売買高は21億1283万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1144と全体の６割となった。値上がりは708、変わらずは141銘柄だった。
非鉄相場の下落などで三菱マ、東邦鉛、大平金、住友鉱は安かった。太平洋セメは、米共和党内でインフラ政策の実行が先送りになるとの一部観測が重荷となり、５％安。東芝は半導体事業への出資企業を巡る思惑で朝方は10％以上、上げる場面もあったが、午後は伸び悩んだ。カメラアプリ事業の再編を発表したＬＩＮＥは８％高。来週末３月３日に新型ゲーム機の発売を予定する任天堂が堅調だった。経営統合が伝わった森永と森永乳は堅調に推移した。
東証２部株価指数は続伸した。マーチャント、ＭＣＪが上げた。半面、朝日インテク、Ｊトラストが下げた。
24日の新興企業向け株式市場で日経ジャスダック平均株価は11日続伸した。2015年４月２～16日以来、１年10カ月ぶりの連続上昇記録。終値は前日比５円14銭（0.17％）高の2982円63銭で連日で昨年来高値を更新した。個人や国内の機関投資家の買い意欲は強く、小安く始まった後に切り返した。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で485億円、売買高は9052万株だった。アエリアとタツモが上昇した。ＤＷＴＩと野村マイクロは下落した。
東証マザーズ指数は５日続伸した。終値は前日比9.72ポイント（0.93％）高の1056.68だった。モバファクやＪＭＣが上昇した。アカツキとそーせいは下落した。
