The Nikkei Stock Average closed down on the Tokyo stock market on the 17th. Finished trading with 281.71 yen (1.48%) lower than the previous day at 18,813.55 yen. Before the inauguration ceremony of the next US President of the Cards on Thursday and a speech on the withdrawal of the European Union (EU) by British Prime Minister Mayday on the evening of July 17, Japan, overseas companies such as hedge funds have sold their shares.

Trading price of TSE 1 department is estimated at 2,094.2 billion yen on an approximate basis. Trading volume was 1,710.56 million shares. The number of stocks in the TSE 1 department accounted for 1799, accounting for 89.7% of the total. The price rise was 149, unchanged 56 brands.
The decline of European related issues such as Takeuchi Manufacturing and Mazda was conspicuous. House and Rakuten 's lowering was also great. Ryoshite and Honda lowered. Ajinomoto and Mitsubishi Kemi HD are also cheap. Meanwhile, Nintendo was high, JFE, Sumitomo Mine, Ono medicine also rose.

この日の日経平均は、昨年11月の米大統領選後の「トランプ相場」が始まって以降で最も下げ幅が大きかった。17年に入ってからは９営業日中６営業日で下げており、株価の下落基調が鮮明になっている。
メイ英首相は演説でＥＵ強硬離脱の方針を示すと伝わり、ポンド売りが対ドルでの円買いに波及。外国為替市場で円高・ドル安の流れが進んだ。大引け間際に円相場が１カ月半ぶりの高値を付けると、歩調を合わせるように日経平均は下げ足を速め、きょうの安値圏で終えた。もっとも、市場では今後の相場を左右しかねない英米の政治イベントを控えていることから売買を見送る投資家も多く、東証１部の売買代金は今年２番目の低水準に沈んだ。

竹内製作所やマツダなど欧州関連銘柄の下落が目立った。ハウスと楽天の下げも大きかった。菱地所やホンダは下げた。味の素や三菱ケミＨＤも安い。一方で、任天堂が高いほか、ＪＦＥや住友鉱、小野薬も上昇した。
