　午前中は１万7000円台での推移が目立っていたが、上値の重さから次第に売りの勢いが増した。午後になって円相場が対ドルで強含むと、日経平均は大引けにかけて下げ幅を広げ、ほぼ安値引けだった。

　週末に日銀の企業短期経済観測調査（短観、３月調査）や３月の米雇用統計など日米の重要統計の公表を控えて、様子見姿勢も強い。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400も続落。終値は前日比196.78ポイント（1.58％）安の１万2249.67だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落、21.31ポイント（1.55％）安の1356.29で終えた。

　東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆４億円。売買高は19億1183万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は全体の73％にあたる1419、値上がりは466、変わらずは59だった。
