On the 13th Tokyo stock market Nikkei Stock Average fell drastically for 4 days. 13日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は大幅に４日続落した。前週末比440円65銭（1.98％）安の２万1857円43銭で終え、７月11日以来およそ１カ月ぶりに節目の２万2000円を割り込んだ。トルコリラの急落で同国向けの債権が多い欧州金融機関の経営に悪影響が及ぶとの懸念が浮上。13日は中国などアジアの株式相場も軒並み下げ、世界的な株安の流れが強まった。
お盆休みで市場参加者が少なく商いが細りやすいため、短期筋が下値を模索する仕掛け的な売りに動いた面もあった。オプション市場の動向を基に算出される日経平均ボラティリティー・インデックス（ＶＩ）が上昇し、相場変動に応じて機械的に売買する一部のヘッジファンドが日本株に売りを出した。
外国為替市場で円相場が１ドル＝110円台前半まで円高方向に振れ、輸出採算が悪化するとの警戒が高まったほか、東証マザーズ指数が大幅安となり個人投資家が売りに動くとの観測も相場全体の重荷となった。前週末の米ハイテク株安が嫌気され、東京エレクトロンなど半導体関連株が売られたことも相場を下押しし、日経平均は７月６日以来およそ１カ月ぶりの安値で終えた。
トルコ中央銀行は13日に「銀行が必要とする流動性を全て提供する」などとする声明を発表したが、日本の株式市場への影響は限定的だった。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は４日続落した。終値は前週末比327.75ポイント（2.16％）安の１万4879.42だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も４日続落し、36.66ポイント（2.13％）安の1683.50で終えた。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆5144億円、売買高は15億2364万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1884と、全体の約９割となった。値上がりは191、変わらずは28だった。
任天堂や三菱ＵＦＪ、トヨタが下落。ＤＭＧ森精機など欧州売上高比率の高い銘柄の下げが目立った。一方、好決算を発表したリクルートが上昇。セコムやスズキも高い。
13日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は３日続落した。終値は前週末比50円21銭（1.34％）安い3695円06銭だった。外国為替市場でのトルコリラの急落を契機に投資家が運用リスクを回避する姿勢を強め、日本の新興株にも売りが膨らんだ。午後にトルコ中央銀行の声明発表を受けてリラが買い戻されると、日経平均株価などと歩調を合わせてやや下げ渋る場面もあった。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で654億円、売買高は１億376万株だった。ユニバーサルやＵＴグループ、ハーモニック・ドライブ・システムズが下落した。半面、メイコーやパピレス、ハーバー研究所といった前営業日に好決算を発表した銘柄などは買いを集めた。
東証マザーズ指数は続落した。終値は前週末比41.50ポイント（4.13％）安の962.48だった。節目の1000を割り込み、2017年１月４日以来およそ１年７カ月ぶりの安値水準で終えた。指数への寄与度が高いメルカリやＣＹＢＥＲＤＹＮＥ、ミクシィなど時価総額上位の銘柄が軒並み大幅安となり、下落幅が拡大した。
そーせいは終値ベースでは2015年11月以来、約２年９カ月ぶりに時価総額が1000億円を下回った。
