31日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価はわずかに反発し、前日比８円88銭（0.04％）高の２万2553円72銭で終えた。日銀は、きょうまで開いた金融政策決定会合で上場投資信託（ＥＴＦ）の買い入れについて、東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）連動型ＥＴＦの比率引き上げを決めた。こうした政策変更を見越して前日までＴＯＰＩＸ先物を買って日経平均先物を売っていた投資家が日経平均先物を買い戻し、ファーストリテイリングやＴＤＫなどの値がさ株に裁定取引に伴う買いが入った。

会合後に長期金利が急低下し、三菱ＵＦＪやりそなホールディングスなど銀行株は軒並み売られた。

30日の米株式相場がハイテク株主導で下落したのを受け、日経平均は午前中に200円近く下げる場面があった。取引開始前に発表された６月の鉱工業生産指数（速報値）が市場予想よりも悪く、景気減速を懸念した売りもみられた。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落した。終値は前日比120.98ポイント（0.77％）安の１万5499.78だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落し、14.86ポイント（0.84％）安の1753.29で終えた。

東証１部の売買代金は概算３兆2635億円と５月31日以来、２カ月ぶりの水準に膨らんだ。売買高は19億7243万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は613、値下がりは1436、変わらずは54銘柄だった。

ファストリやファナック、京セラが高い。東京エレクトロンや信越化学工業も買われた。一方、花王やトヨタ、資生堂が安く、日立建機やコマツが売られた。

31日午前の新興企業向け株式市場で日経ジャスダック平均株価は続落した。前引けは前日比13円46銭（0.35％）安の3817円83銭だった。日銀の金融政策決定会合の結果発表を見極めたいとのムードが強く、ジャスダック市場でも積極的な買いが見送られた。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で241億円、売買高は4926万株。４～６月期が最終赤字になったジャパン・ティッシュ・エンジニアリングが下落。インフォコムも下げた。一方、アクサスホールディングスやハーモニック・ドライブ・システムズは上昇した。

東証マザーズ指数は小幅に反発し、前引けは前日比0.95ポイント（0.09％）高の1039.64だった。時価総額の大きいミクシィやサンバイオの上昇が指数を支えた。メルカリやＧＡテクノも高い。一方、減益決算を発表した弁護士ＣＯＭが下落。ＵＮＩＴＥＤが売りに押された。
