６日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は５営業日ぶりに反発し、前日比241円15銭（1.12％）高の２万1788円14銭で終えた。トランプ米政権が対中制裁関税を発動したが、市場は「いったん悪材料が出尽くした」と受け止めた。電機や商社、海運などの景気敏感株を中心に押し目買いが広がった。
週初から前日までに日経平均は700円以上下落していた。週末を前に日経平均先物を売っていた短期筋の買い戻しも優勢となった。午後は上海株や香港株が上昇し、投資家心理を後押しした。上げ幅は一時300円を超えた。ただ、６日発表の６月の米雇用統計を前に買い持ち高を減らす動きもみられ、２万1800円台では伸び悩んだ。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は反発。終値は前日比137.13ポイント（0.92％）高の１万4993.59だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も反発し、15.34ポイント（0.92％）高の1691.54で終えた。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆4273億円。売買高は13億9356万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1684と、全体の約８割を占めた。値下がりは362、変わらずは52だった。
アルツハイマー病を対象とした新薬候補の臨床試験の成果が評価されたエーザイは制限値幅の上限（ストップ高水準）まで買われた。エーザイ１銘柄で日経平均を50円あまり押し上げた。トヨタ、ソフトバンク、ファナック、東京エレクトロンが高い。一方、任天堂やイオン、花王、日揮、ヤマハは安い。
６日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は５営業日ぶりに反発した。終値は前日比47円47銭（1.29％）高い3726円65銭だった。トランプ米政権は６日、中国の知的財産侵害に対する制裁関税を発動した。市場では既に織り込み済みとして、制裁発動による相場への影響は限られた。日経ジャスダック平均は前日まで連日で年初来安値を更新していたため、短期的な戻りを期待した買いが優勢となった。取引終了にかけて上昇幅が拡大した。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で427億円、売買高は7955万株だった。
精密減速機を製造するハーモニックが上昇。東証１部で機械関連に上げが目立ち、同業種との位置付けで買いが入った。６月の既存店売上高が前年同月比でプラスに転じたセリアが高い。マクドナルドも上げた。一方、ダイヤ通商やエスプールは下げた。
東証マザーズ指数も５営業日ぶりに反発した。終値は前日比28.90ポイント（2.90％）高い1025.24だった。時価総額の大きいそーせいやミクシィ、ＪＩＡが上昇。ＨＥＲＯＺは午後に上昇に転じた。一方、シェアリングテクノロジーやサイバダインは下げた。メルカリも売りに押された。
