７日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は４日続伸した。終値は前日比197円53銭（0.87％）高の２万2823円26銭だった。６日の米株高を受け、投資家心理が強気に傾いた。東京市場で幅広い銘柄が買われ、東証１部の７割を超える銘柄が上昇した。日経平均株価は一時、上げ幅が200円を超える場面もあった。
６日の米株式市場でダウ工業株30種平均が反発した。欧州金融政策の正常化観測を背景に主要国の長期金利が上昇し、利ざやが改善するとの期待から米金融株が買われた。東京市場でも、銀行や証券株に買いが集まった。外国為替市場では円安が対ユーロと対ドルで進み、自動車や機械、電機などに輸出採算が改善すると期待した買いが入った。
ファーストリテイリングや資生堂、ダイキン工業など主力の値がさ株の上昇が目立った。この３銘柄の上昇だけで、同日の日経平均株価を62円押し上げた。８日に株価指数先物・オプション６月物の特別清算指数（ＳＱ）の算出での売買も活況。
東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は６日続伸した。前日比11.42ポイント（0.64％）高の1789.01で終えた。ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400も６日続伸し、終値は98.67ポイント（0.63％）高の１万5821.95だった。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆5451億円。売買高は14億3415万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1555、値下がりは462、変わらずは67銘柄だった。
任天堂やコマツが上昇し、パナソニックやＴＤＫが上げた。一方、ＳＯＭＰＯホールディングスやアステラス製薬、オリンパスは下げた。
７日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は４営業日ぶりに反発した。終値は前日比26円33銭（0.67％）高い3933円74銭となった。６日の米株式相場の上昇などを受けて投資家心理が強気に傾き、幅広い銘柄に買いが入った。フリーマーケットアプリ大手メルカリの上場に備えた個人投資家の換金売りが一巡したとの見方から下値不安が後退したことも支えとなった。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で622億円、売買高は9732万株だった。ＳＡＭＵＲＡＩ＆Ｊ ＰＡＲＴＮＥＲＳやマクドナルド、アイフリークが上昇した。半面、エンジャパンやハーモニック、メイコーが下落した。
東証マザーズ指数は５営業日ぶりに大幅に反発し、終値は前日比24.09ポイント（2.20％）高の1118.35だった。ＡＬＢＥＲＴやミクシィ、総医研ホールディングスＤが上げた。サンバイオやそーせいなどのバイオ関連銘柄にも資金流入が目立った。一方、メルカリ株を保有するＵＮＩＴＥＤは下落。サイバダインやＳＯＵも下げた。
