１日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は７営業日ぶりに反発し、前日比387円82銭（1.68％）高の２万3486円11銭で終えた。前日の米株式相場の上昇や円高一服を背景に投資家心理が改善した。幅広い銘柄に買いが入り、東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1789と今年最多となり、全体の87％を占めた。

2017年４～12月期の決算を前日に発表した日立や三井住友ＦＧが買われた。

前日に続き商いも膨らみ、東証１部の売買代金は概算で３兆5134億円と今年３番目の多さとなった。円高一服を手掛かりとした海外ヘッジファンドによる株価指数先物への買いも相場を押し上げた。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400も７営業日ぶりに反発した。終値は前日比281.23ポイント（1.73％）高の１万6531.91だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は３日ぶりに反発し、33.73ポイント（1.84％）高の1870.44で終えた。

東証１部の売買高は概算で18億1656万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は238、変わらずは35だった。ゼロックスを買収する富士フイルムが急伸した。トヨタやソニーも上げた。半面、富士通やエプソン、日東電は下げた。

１日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は４営業日ぶりに反発した。終値は前日比34円45銭（0.81％）高い4274円30銭だった。東証１部の主力株の上昇で投資家心理が上向いたことが新興企業株にも追い風となり、ジャスダック平均は午後に上げ幅を拡大した。大幅増益のスパークスなど、個別に好材料が出た銘柄に買いが集まった。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で1044億円、売買高は１億4809万株だった。精密鍛造金型のニチダイに引き続き買いが入った。精密減速機メーカーのハーモニックも上昇で終えた。一方、100円ショップ大手のセリアが下落した。ジオマテックやＮＦ回路にも売りが出た。

東証マザーズ指数は４営業日ぶりに反発した。午後に上げ幅を拡大し、終値は前日比29.70ポイント（2.26％）高い1343.08だった。ミクシィやそーせい、パークシャといった時価総額の大きい銘柄に買いが入った。業績予想を上方修正したハナツアーＪも上昇した。一方、フィルＣやＵＮＩＴＥＤは売りに押された。
