日経ジャスダック平均株価は３日続伸で、26年ぶりの高値を連日で更新。
東証マザーズ指数は６営業日ぶりに反落。
20日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は３日続伸し、前日比162円66銭（0.81％）高の２万0230円41銭で終えた。６月２日以来、半月ぶりに年初来高値を更新した。2015年８月18日以来、約１年10カ月ぶりの高値となった。19日の米株高や外国為替市場で進んだ円安を好感し、輸出関連株を中心に幅広い銘柄が買われた。
円相場は対ドルで111円台後半まで円安が進み、輸出採算が改善するとの期待から機械や輸送用機器に買いが広がった。スズキやコマツ、ＳＭＣが上げた。19日の米国株式市場でハイテク株が上昇した流れを引き継ぎ、村田製や東エレク、三菱電などが買われた。パナソニックは年初来高値を付けた。
ニューヨーク連銀のダドリー総裁が米景気の拡大局面が続くとの見方を示し、19日に米長期金利の低下が一服。東京株式市場でも利ざや拡大への期待が高まった保険や銀行など金融株には買いが先行した。もっとも国内金利が長期的に低位に推移するとの見方が強いなか金融株の上昇には懐疑的な見方も多く、大引けにかけては利益確定目的の売りが出て伸び悩んだ。ＳＯＭＰＯは年初来高値を付けた後に上げ幅を縮小し、Ｔ＆Ｄは下落に転じた。
ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は３日続伸した。終値は前日比96.84ポイント（0.68％）高の１万4382.03だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は３日続伸し、11.18ポイント（0.70％）高の1617.25で終えた。年初来高値を付け、15年８月20日以来約１年10カ月ぶりの高値となった。
東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆5192億円。売買高は18億3654万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1532と、全体の76％を占めた。値下がりは389、変わらずは99銘柄だった。
人工知能（ＡＩ）を使った新素材の研究開発で協力すると発表した三菱ケミＨＤや旭化成、三井化学はそろって上昇した。任天堂と資生堂は年初来高値を付けた。住友鉱やＮＴＴ、ファストリも買われた。一方、年初来高値を付けていたソニーやキヤノン、ＯＬＣは利益確定売りに押され下落に転じた。東ガスや中部電、ＪＲ西日本など内需関連株の一角が下げた。
20日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は３日続伸した。終値は前日比８円16銭（0.25％）高い3253円73銭となり1991年６月21日以来、26年ぶりの高値を連日で更新した。ハイテク株の一角や好材料の出た銘柄に買いが入った。一方、バイオ関連などは午後に売りが出て、指数も伸び悩んだ。
20日にジャスダック市場に上場したＤＭソリュは買い注文が集まり、終日買い気配のまま上場初日を終えた。取引時間終了時点の気配値は公開価格（2500円）の2.3倍にあたる5750円だった。
ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で784億円、売買高は１億2941万株だった。アエリアやアズジェント、シライ電子が上昇した。半面、前引け時点は上昇だったシンバイオは下落に転じたほか、ブロッコリーやユニバーサルも売られた。
東証マザーズ指数は６営業日ぶりに反落した。終値は前日比5.83ポイント（0.50％）安い1167.30だった。ジーエヌアイが下落に転じたほか、リミックスやアンジェスが売られた。一方、アカツキやエンバイオＨ、インフォテリは上昇した。
東証２部株価指数は続伸した。東証１部への市場変更を月内に申請すると伝わったシャープが大幅に上昇した。ラオックスと技研製も買われた。半面、ＲＶＨとペッパーは下げた。
