12日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は３日ぶりに反落した。終値は前日比77円65銭（0.39％）安の１万9883円90銭だった。前日の米国株式市場で株価指数が下落し、投資家が運用リスクを取る姿勢をやや後退させた。心理的な節目である２万円に近づき、海外投資家や個人投資家の利益確定売りも出た。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は３日ぶりに反落し、前日比50.79ポイント（0.36％）安の１万4111.69だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も３日ぶりに反落し、6.15ポイント（0.39％）安の1580.71だった。

外国為替市場で円相場が強含み、株価指数先物に短期的な取引を手がける投資家の売りが出て現物株の売りにも波及した。ただ株主還元を強化する銘柄に押し目買いが入り、下げ幅は小さかった。

12日寄り付きでは株価指数オプションとミニ日経平均先物５月物の特別清算指数（ＳＱ）算出に関連した注文が入り、売買が膨らんだ。東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆9645億円。売買高は22億4862万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1140と全体の57％を占めた。値上がりは734、変わらずは141銘柄だった。

米携帯電話子会社のスプリントとＴモバイルＵＳの経営統合を提案すると伝わったソフトバンクは反落した。株価指数先物に売りに伴い、ファストリやファナックなどの値がさ株が下げた。今期連結純利益を前期比５％減と見込むコニカミノルの下げが目立った。トヨタやスズキが下落し、菱地所も下げた。住友鉱は年初来安値を更新し、三菱ＵＦＪや東京海上が軟調だった。

一方、自社株買いを発表した丸井Ｇは大幅高となった。１～３月期が最終増益だった楽天が大幅に上昇し、増配を発表したＫＤＤＩやＪＸＴＧも上げた。日東電や東電ＨＤの上昇も大きかった。

東証２部株価指数は続伸した。シャープやマーキュリアが上げた。一方、象印やＡＤプラズマが下げた

12日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は小幅ながら続落した。終値は前日比７円84銭（0.25％）安の3073円94銭だった。先高期待は強いものの、日経平均株価が軟調に推移したことから、ひとまず利益確定売りが出て終日安値圏で推移した。ただ好業績の内需銘柄も多く、下値では押し目買いも入り下げ渋った。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で556億円、売買高は8063万株。アエリア、平田機工やケアサービスが下落した。クルーズやエンジャパン、ポラテクノが上昇した。

東証マザーズ指数は続落した。終値は前日比8.72ポイント（0.82％）安い1060.43だった。アカツキ、そーせいやディディエが下げた。午後に好業績を発表した力の源ＨＤ、ミクシィやカヤックが上げた。
