18日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は続伸した。前日比63円33銭（0.35％）高の１万8418円59銭で終えた。大幅に上昇した前日の米株式相場や１ドル＝109円台前半に下落した円相場が追い風となり、投資家心理がひとまず改善した。朝方は上げ幅を200円近くまで広げたが、地政学リスクへの警戒感に加え、都内で開かれている日米経済対話の動向を見極めたいとの雰囲気も強く、朝高後は上値の重い展開だった。

円相場が１ドル＝108円台後半まで下げ渋り、後場寄り直後に日経平均は上げ幅を７円まで縮小する場面があった。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続伸した。終値は前日比45.33ポイント（0.34％）高の１万3187.25だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続伸し、5.84ポイント（0.40％）高の1471.53で終えた。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で１兆7744億円。売買高は15億7522万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1494と、全体の74％を占めた。値下がりは415、変わらずは106銘柄だった。

任天堂、ソフトバンクが売買を伴って上昇した。マツダやオリックス、関西電の上げも目立つ。大和や三菱ケミＨＤが高く、デンソーやみずほＦＧが買われた。一方、2018年３月期の連結営業利益が減益になりそうだと伝わったマルハニチロが８％超の下落となった。アサヒや住友鉱、楽天、住友不が安く、ユニチャームやＪＦＥも売られた。

東証２部株価指数は続伸した。シャープとＭＣＪが上げ、技研製とＤＡＣＨＤが下げた。

18日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は続伸した。終値は前日比33円19銭（1.16％）高い2895円54銭だった。17日の米国株高で日経平均株価が上昇し、新興市場でも投資家心理が改善。コンビニエンスストア大手による無人レジ導入観測でオプトエレなど関連銘柄の物色が目立った。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で395億円、売買高は5910万株だった。ブロッコリーやアエリア、ＦＶＣが上昇した。半面、細火工やオービス、ユニバーサルは下落した。

東証マザーズ指数は続伸した。終値は前日比11.24ポイント（1.13％）高い1002.96だった。終値としておよそ１週間ぶりに1000を回復した。ソレイジアやアカツキ、ファイズが上昇した。一方でメドレックスやジーエヌアイ、サイステップは下落した。
