８日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は４日続落した。終値は前日比90円12銭（0.47％）安の１万9254円03銭だった。週末の米雇用統計や週明けには米連邦公開市場委員会（ＦＯＭＣ）など重要イベントを控えて買いが手控えられた。

前日の株安が投資家心理の重荷となり、朝方から投資家が運用リスクに対して慎重な姿勢を崩さなかった。午後にかけては投資家の間で模様眺めムードが一段と強まって持ち高を売りに傾ける向きも限られ、日経平均の動きは乏しくなった。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は４日続落し、46.59ポイント（0.33％）安の１万3872.02で終えた。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は反落した。終値は4.79ポイント（0.31％）安の1550.25だった。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆144億円と、売買活況の目安となる２兆円をわずかに上回った。売買高は16億2603万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1073、値上がりは771、変わらずは160だった。

　

主力のトヨタのほか、三菱ＵＦＪが売りに押された。新日鉄住金やＪＦＥなどの鉄鋼株、住友鉱や東邦亜鉛などの非鉄金属株も安かった。半面、３日に発売した新型ゲーム機「ニンテンドースイッチ」の販売が好調との見方から任天堂が上昇した。大成建、大林組などの建設株の一角も高い。ＪＲ九州は11日続伸し、連日で上場来高値を更新した。

東証２部株価指数は７営業日ぶりに反落した。シャープ、Ｊトラスト、昭和ＨＤが下げた一方、マーチャント、コスモス、ランドコンピュータが上昇した。

８日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は19日続伸した。19日続伸は2003年12月24日から04年１月27日までの21日続伸以来、約13年ぶりの長期連騰記録。終値は前日比６円60銭（0.22％）高い3050円54銭だった。材料が出た銘柄や16年末の新規株式公開（ＩＰＯ）銘柄を中心に中小型株の物色が引き続き活発だった。日経平均株価が４日続落するなど東証１部銘柄の値動きの鈍さも、個人投資家などによる新興市場への資金流入を誘った。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で709億円、売買高は１億1069万株だった。アエリアやジシステム、日本ラッドが上昇した。半面、アズジェントやウェッジＨＤ、ユニバーサルは下落した。

東証マザーズ指数は反発した。終値は前日比9.73ポイント（0.91％）高い1080.85だった。ディディエやジーエヌアイ、メタップスが上昇した。そーせいやＩＴｂｏｏｋ、上場２日目のロコンドが下落した。
