10日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は続落し、前日比67円05銭（0.40％）安の１万6601円36銭で終えた。海外株安や原油安を背景に投資家心理が悪化し、資源や海運などを中心に幅広い銘柄に売りが出た。下げ幅を170円超まで拡大し、節目の１万6500円を下回る場面もあった。

前日の欧州や米国の株式相場が軒並み下落し、リスク運用を回避する雰囲気が日本株にも波及した。ただ、来週に米連邦公開市場委員会（ＦＯＭＣ）や日銀金融政策決定会合を控え、結果を見極めたいとして下値を売り急ぐ動きは限られた。円相場が１ドル＝107円台まで下落し、相場全体を下支えしたほか、ＰＥＲ（株価収益率）など投資指標面の割安感に着目した押し目買いも入り、日経平均は大引けにかけて急速に下げ渋った。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落し、終値は前日比62.22ポイント（0.52％）安の１万1981.60。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落し、終値は同6.69ポイント（0.50％）安の1330.72だった。

株価指数先物・オプションの特別清算指数（ＳＱ）算出に伴う売買が膨らみ、東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆4548億円と２兆円台に乗せた。売買高は22億721万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1182と全体の６割強を占めた。値上がりは615、変わらずは161銘柄だった。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で307億円、売買高は5985万株だった。主力銘柄で構成するＪＡＳＤＡＱ―ＴＯＰ20は小幅に続落した。アルファクスやサン電子、マクドナルドは上昇した。リプロセル、平田機工が下落した。

東証マザーズ指数は４日続伸した。終値は前日比２.39ポイント（0.21％）高い1165.55だった。ブランジスタやそーせい、アキュセラが上昇した。ＪＩＧＳＡＷやグリンペプ、ミクシィが下落した。
